Charce could feel Aether’s member teasing his entrance, brushing up and down. Aether’s cock felt warm, almost hot and then the two of them were kissing. Aether seemed to have unleashed all the skills he knew on Charce’s lips. Charce was getting carried away by the passionate lip bites and licks. Charce moaned as his lips were occupied, the sudden grip on his hips giving him a brief warning. Aether’s cock pushed at his entrance. He could feel himself widening with the increasing pressure and then a deep penetration as Aether’s cock slid into him.

“Your ass feels so good hugging onto me.” Aether grinned from above Charce, a hungry light in his eyes as he groaned. He rested for a few second and then started moving his hips.

The movement caused the feeling of fullness to briefly withdraw a little from Charce. The Prince let out a wistful moan. Pleasure flooded through him again as Aether’s cock slid forward, even deeper.

“Ahhh!” Charce moaned, his head turning to the side and his eyes closed as his body felt like it was on fire. From desire, want, need. Charce’s hands went to claw at Aether’s back, holding on as he felt the King picking up speed. Penetrating even deeper inside him, it felt like Charce was knowing Aether more and more with each thrust. Every ridge and bump on the cock filling him up, and even the heated pants from Aether made Charce feel like their bodies were merging. It was something he had never felt before, and Charce was suddenly met with the fear that he would never feel this again with anyone else.

“Hngh!” Charce groaned as Aether’s cock fully entered him, their flesh slapping together. Unbidden emotions swirled within him. How vulnerable he was now, how open he was to another man. Their copulation really began as Aether groaned out loud from the pleasure of finally being able to let go and take his fill.

Aether and Charce’s body sung in unison. Being able to touch, smell, hear another human being so up close set all of Charce’s senses ablaze. Each thrust brought him to a new height of pleasure. Charce groaned whenever Aether’s cock slammed deep into him, his voice echoing through the large room. Barely clinging on to any semblance of coherence, it took all of Charce’s strength to voice the bursting need in him.

“Coming!” He shouted, his fingers digging hard into Aether’s back as the King thrust deep into him. Charce yelled as a long stream of cum shot out of him, coating both himself and Aether’s body in a white line leading down to where they were joined together.

It took a while for Charce to register that Aether was groaning above him as well, the King’s voice was significantly deeper and there was a rumbling deep in his chest. It was a warning. There was a warm gush in his bum, and Charce peeked up to see Aether’s face contorted in pleasure, his eyes closed and his mouth opened as he gasped for air. Charce had never been this close to someone before and a deep blush came to his cheeks.

Aether gasped and then collapsed fully on top of Charce, the full weight of his body bearing down. Charce’s legs were still spread and he felt a little too vulnerable, but he kept quiet, giving Aether time to recover.

It felt… comfortable though, to have his body against someone else like this, flesh to flesh. Charce almost didn’t want to let go. As he relaxed more and more, the excitement of release leaving him, Charce could feel his eyes becoming heavy.

“You were the best, princess.” Aether gasped, pushing himself to his elbows and pulling out. He turned his head and smiled at what he saw. Charce sleeping peacefully and soundly, his eyes closed with an expression of serenity on his face. The Prince’s breathing was deep, and his body relaxed, so different from how he was a few minutes before.

Or rather, hours. Aether realised with a start that the sun outside had set. They had been going at it and teasing each other for hours. Aether bent his face down to gently kiss Charce, stealing another kiss from the Prince. Charce moaned softly in his sleep and Aether grinned. Hopefully he had intruded on Charce’s dreams as well.

Now, if only Charce could react to him so beautifully in his waking hours.

Aether sat up with a sigh, running a hand through his damp blond hair. He stood up and went to the bathroom, wetting a hand towel in there before coming out to clean Charce’s nether regions, taking care to move his limbs slowly and gently so as not to disturb him. Charce definitely had the tougher kingdom to rule over. The bags and dark circles under the Prince’s eyes were a testament to that.

When everything was cleaned as best as he could, Aether pulled up the covers over Charce and stole another kiss. “You’re so spoiled, Princess.” Aether smiled and then went to take a shower.

He emerged, clean and refreshed. He didn’t usually sleep with his sex partners, especially not when they hadn’t showered after sex. But tonight, he was looking forward to sleeping beside Charce. The Prince understood him far better than anyone had before. Running a kingdom came with many complications and he knew that Charce could relate to him far better than any other, despite the differences between their kingdoms. Maybe even because of it. Some things were too glaring to ignore. He returned to the bed, sliding under the covers with a contented sigh as he wrapped an arm around Charce, pulling the Prince close to his chest.

  Chapter 4

Sunlight filtered in through the billowing curtains, the soft cool wind making Charce’s hair dance and tickle him awake. Charce yawned, burrowing deeper into the warmth next to him. It felt good. It smelt good. There was the faint whiff of lemon and then something musky. He sighed, dozing towards a deeper sleep until he felt something warm touch his forehead, lingering there for a few seconds and then pulling back.

Was he dreaming? That had felt like a kiss. Or at least, what he remembered a kiss felt like from all those years ago… but then.. Charce’s eyes flew opened as he remembered what happened just recently. He was met with the wall of a strong, muscular chest.

“Eh?” Charce tilted his head up to see Aether smiling down at him, his eyes like bright sparks.

“Good morning, Princess! What would you like to eat for breakfast?” Aether smiled, his lips swooping down to kiss Charce on the forehead. It was the same feeling as a few seconds ago and Charce blushed a bright red at being kissed unaware while he was sleeping. Lowered defenses wasn’t a good thing.

“Uh, wait, what?” Charce stared blearily up at Aether. Princess? Did he unknowingly change his sex during the night?

“Still not awake yet, huh? I guess you’re not a morning person. Well, you were really feisty last night, so I suppose it can’t be helped.” Aether smiled and Charce suddenly found himself engulfed in the King’s strong arms. They wrapped around him tightly and Charce frowned, wondering why he didn’t feel the urge to push the man away even though Aether was being arrogant. And first thing in the morning too.

Charce decided to just close his eyes, enjoying the warmth. Not saying anything was probably the best course of action for now. For one thing, being huddled close to the King had made him realise something - his body ached all over. Especially his legs. He wasn’t in deep pain though. It would just take a bit more effort to move gracefully if he planned to get out of bed today.

The thought of lying in bed all day and being cuddled by Aether was very appealing, as much as he was loath to admit it.

But as Charce slowly woke up, he remembered he had a job to do. And what better time to do it than now? When they were lying in bed together, and hopefully Aether had his defences lowered too.

“My kingdom needs your help, Aether,” Charce said quietly with his face still leaning against Aether’s chest.

“Ah, so this was your sneaky plan all along? To sneak into my bed and then sneak help for yourself?” Aether’s voice was light but underneath it, Charce could hear a slight edge to it.

“No.” Charce shook his head, looking up at the King so the man could look into his eyes as he spoke. “I don’t have control over my powers. This is the first time since I’ve reached maturity that I’ve… touched someone, much less slept in the same bed with them.”

“So, this is your first time?”
Aether’s eyes widened and Charce could see himself reflected back in them. There was a scared expression on his own face. “Was your first time?”

Charce’s cheeks turned a bright red and he hurriedly pushed Aether away. “So what if it is? Do you want to fight about it?” A small ball of fog flew to his hand.

“Woah. Woah, there. No need to get violent and murder my pillows. I was just asking. And I’m honoured.”

Large warm hands clasped onto Charce’s cheeks, tilting his head upwards. There was a warm smile on Aether’s features and before Charce could give another warning, Aether had closed the distance between their lips. It was a sweet, soft kiss. Different from the heated passion of what they had shared so many times before.

“Stay here with me. Stay here and I’ll make sure aid is sent to your kingdom.”

Charce blinked a few times. Was he hearing things? “You want me to stay here?”

  “Yes!”

  “Why?”

Aether laughed as he looked down at Charce staring up at him. “Because you amuse me.”

Charce gave Aether a dead stare. He wasn’t some toy. “You’re not very amusing to me.”

“Well, maybe if you stayed, I could become amusing to you.” Aether knew Charce wasn’t telling the exact truth. Last night had been more than amusing for the both of them.

“I have a kingdom to take care of.” Charce frowned as he pulled away from Aether’s encompassing hands. “It would not be beneficial to my people if I remain here.”

“Even if that means giving up constant aid?” Aether asked, lounging back on the bed and stretching his arms out.

  “What?”

“Stay here and I promise a yearly tribute to your kingdom.”

“Your counsellors would never agree to that, even if you’re insane enough to do it.”

  “I am the King.”

Charce turned around to see Aether smirking as if just that sentence would cover everything.

  “Your people will start rebelling.”

“They are cowards. They won’t lift a hand.”

“Don’t underestimate the power of greed. Your life will be in danger.”

Charce stood up, his body still naked from the activities of the night before. The sunlight gave his pale skin an ethereal glow. Charce worked through the ache of his legs and moved towards the bathroom.

“So, you care for me that much, huh?” Aether called from the bed, turning on his side to admire the view of Charce’s buttocks moving. A plump peach dancing in front of him.

“You’re not that bad of a bad King if you’re willing to give us aid.” Charce answered, then closed the door to the bathroom, moving to the showers inside.

“Well, that’s a start.” Aether smiled as he sprawled back on the bed.

The bathroom was just as richly decorated as the room outside. A large bath with flowers floating in it perfumed the air. Charce stepped past the glass separating the shower area into the gold-gilded interior and turned on the tap. Refreshing cool water was running down his body instantly. He closed his eyes, sighing at how great the water felt on his skin.

  “Mind if I join you?”

Charce jumped at the voice behind him and he slid a little on the floor before Aether’s strong arms caught him.

“You could have announced yourself more subtly.” Charce quickly stood up straight, though Aether’s arms around him remained.

“Subtlety is for the common-folk. Being air-footed guarantees I’ll always stand out.” Aether grinned. “So, shower together?”

“Well, it’s your shower.” Charce shrugged his shoulders. He still couldn’t believe there was somebody out there that could actually touch him. The only downside was the person was quite insufferable in the morning.

“I’ve decided.” Aether rested his hand on both of Charce’s shoulders. “I want to follow you down there and help you.”

Charce dropped the soap he had been holding, turning around to stare at Aether. “You’re kidding, right?”

“No, I’m not kidding.” Aether’s blue eyes were earnest as he gazed back into Charce’s green ones. “I’ve never been more serious in my life, actually. I want to help you.”

Charce frowned as he looked down at the bubbles being created on the soap from the wash of the shower spray. He should have been happy. Overjoyed, really, but it felt wrong. “So, it’s not that you want to help all the people in my kingdom and ease them from their suffering? You just want to help me?”

“Yes.” Aether smiled brightly. That was great, right? Very sacrificial and a big show of his true feelings for the Prince. So, why wasn’t Charce smiling?

  “Why me?”

  “Why not?”

“This is because of last night.” Charce scowled at Aether.

“Of course. It was a beautiful night, and I intend to have many more beautiful nights with you.”

“Does this mean that you like me?”

Charce’s point-blank serious stare made Aether burst into laughter.

“Of course I like you. If I didn’t, why would I have sex with you?”

“Because this would mean that I’m making use of how you feel towards me for the advantage of my kingdom.” Charce looked up at Aether with a clouded pain in his eyes.

“Does it matter? As long as your people get aid, isn’t that enough?” Aether frowned.

“And if we have an argument? If you do not feel the same way about me anymore?” Charce asked.

“I…” Aether was stumped for words for once. “That won’t happen.”

“You can’t know that.” Charce sighed, washing himself. Great. Why did they have to have emotions to complicate matters? He could have just taken advantage of the situation.

“I know that I like you enough to want you by my side. For a long while.” Aether rested his head on Charce’s shoulder. “We’re a great match too. A Prince and a King. Two heads of state. If it was anyone else, we would wonder if they’re liking us for our titles.”

Charce sighed again. He didn’t want Aether to make any foolish decisions and jeopardise his own people, but... Charce desperately needed the help.

“Alright. I won’t stop you from following me back to my kingdom. Just… make your decision after you’ve seen the condition of my kingdom. And considered things properly.”

“I can do that.” Aether smiled. As long as he was near Charce, what did anything else matter? There was just something irresistible and magnetic about the Prince. He made Aether’s body sing like never before. There couldn’t be a real price on that.

  Chapter 5

Charce frowned, tugging at the rather tight fabric of the garb he was now wearing. Sure, they might have been tailor-made by the best, but he wasn’t used to the cut at all. He looked over at Aether and realised that the Overworld’s ceremonial clothes for their King also had red and blue in it. Though of course Aether had a gold cape while his was more of a metallic blue. Both were modified from their kingdom’s armour.

“Why do we have to do this?” Charce sighed, watching as the swarm of people chattered in the Hall. He wasn’t used to such festivities just because royalty was leaving. He had departed from his kingdom without a send-off or any of the populace knowing.

“Because my people will miss me.” Aether grinned, relaxing back in his throne as he observed the festivities going on beneath them. Charce was seated to his right and looked ravishing in his kingdom’s formal dress. “Besides, isn’t it fun?”

“This is not my idea of fun.” Charce jumped from the loud blast of horns to his right. It was a deafening noise that he felt almost took out his ear drums. A group of dancers poured into the hall and there were loud shouts and slightly out-of-sync clapping to the music.

“Then what is your idea of fun?” Aether turned, a look of concern in his eyes as he smiled at Charce.

“It’s… erhm.” Charce paused, frowning as he tried to search for an answer. But try as he might, he couldn’t remember the last time he really had any fun.
There just wasn’t enough time while he took care of his kingdom, and if there was time, he used it to catch up on his sleep. He felt like a glorified medic most days.

“You haven’t had any fun for a long while.” Aether said, realisation dawning on his face. “That’s why you don’t smile. You used to smile a lot when you were younger.”

Charce sat quietly. He couldn’t argue with that. There wasn’t much to smile about when everyone around you was either dying or starving. He was Prince, but there was only so much one person could do even with his powers. And sometimes he couldn’t do anything at all. The crying boy rose to his mind. The only reason he hadn’t let all the sadness he had experienced consume him was because people needed him. Even if he was just one person, he would try his best. He couldn’t let down the people that had placed so much trust in him.

But how could he say all that out? Especially to Aether who he had only just met, at a party where they were supposed to be having fun? It was Aether’s fun night before the dive into chaos.

Thankfully, Aether just say in silence next to him without pressuring him to speak further. Charce wanted to know what the man was thinking but he couldn’t find the right words. Anything he said would have led back to his own thoughts and emotions. It wasn’t a place he wanted to be now.

The festivities passed him by. The dancing girls continued their body-shaking and sultry looks while the musicians upped the tempo to the dance. The sounds of joyful music filled the hall and Charce tried his best to enjoy it, though it was difficult. His mind just kept drifting off to his kingdom and if he would return to find it in ruins. Who knew how far the illness had spread by now?

But he had to at least endure it. Aether was giving up a lot more to come help them. A raucous party wasn’t so hard to get through, right?

  “Dance with me.”

“What?” Charce was broken out of his thoughts. He turned to look at Aether with a wide, frightened stare. Did he just hear what he heard?
